A company or An Organisation is a formal structure of people formed for a common goal for conducting Business. Hence Employee management and Employee Life Cycle Management is one of the most important functions of every leadership of every company.
This makes HR or Human Resource core to an organisation, when we talk about Human Resource or HR the one thing that comes to our mind is that it is the go-to department, within any organization, when it comes to talent acquisition, employee engagement, appraisals, R&R, Retention, etc. Human Resource is an integral part of any organization irrespective of its size, because a founder or the CEO of the organization is an expert and a specialist in his business domain, he has his own responsibilities, he pursues the Vision, mission, values, targets, growth plans, markets, products and he knows how each of these have to be done and as a commander and chief he instructs and has people to carry out his bidding. And it is not necessary that he would have the skills required to manage the team. Also, as the business grows the team managing the business too grows, and there comes a time when it becomes difficult the head of the company to manage the team efficiently. This is where the Human Resource department comes into play. Many companies – start-ups or traditional do not regard HR with the importance it deserves. The riddle: whether investing on Human Resource would help them grow the business & ensure return on investments or its a dead waste of good money. Hence many choose against investing in HR and with time they realize that they would sooner or later need to invest in Human Resource Management. On a humorous note, investing on Learning & Development on staff May be a cost one may like to avoid due to the fear of attrition as some attrition is natural and bound to happen, that should be factored, however, imagine a situation where the entire staff is untrained without engagement and lives to be unproductively employed in the organisation, which cost is more? The cost of L&D or low productive staff? The key responsibilities of Human resource are as follows.
Although, HR is an integral part of any organization, there comes a point when individuals in the HR department too face challenges and are in need of advice and help. Hence, it is extremely important for HR Executives to meet with individuals from their domain that have faced similar challenges and overcome them. Learning from their experience and sharing their own experience helps in the growth of every HR Manager / executive. And to do that an HR Executive or HR Manager has to always be on a lookout for Human Resource Events happening in India. When we talk about HR Events in India or HR Conclaves in India, a pronounced name comes on top of the list, Emerging HR. Emerging HR is an event powered by Programic Asia which is one of the top B2B Event Companies in India. They have created a unique platform for all HR managers and leaders to come together under one roof and network with one another in a formal and informal environment to learn from one another’s experience and discuss upcoming trends & technologies in the field of HR.
